Noon

Two flows for Noon UAE sellers: prep and inbound to Noon’s UAE fulfilment centres if you run on FBN, or full fulfilment from our own warehouse if you sell direct. We pick the right combination per seller; many sellers run both, with FBN for high-rotation SKUs and direct fulfilment for the long tail. Owned warehouse in Ras Al Khor, Dubai means stock can sit with us between modes without two warehouses to coordinate.

  • Prep and inbound to Noon FCs (FBN). Stock arrives at our warehouse, we label and package per current Noon spec, then deliver to the assigned UAE fulfilment centre on the agreed inbound date. Service detail in Noon prep.
  • Direct fulfilment from our warehouse. For Noon orders you fulfil yourself, we pick, pack, dispatch on our fleet, capture proof of delivery, and reconcile any COD. Same path as Shopify orders.
  • Mixed model. High-rotation SKUs go to Noon FBN for marketplace placement; long-tail or higher-AOV SKUs stay on our shelf for direct fulfilment, where you control the buyer experience and margin.

What we do on every FBN inbound:

  • Noon barcode labelling on every unit per Noon’s current spec.
  • Packaging compliance review against current Noon carton requirements (inner packaging, void fill, fragile flagging).
  • Documentation prep: inbound notice, packing list per Noon’s template, commercial invoice if needed.
  • Inbound coordination with Noon’s logistics team including booking the receiving slot at the fulfilment centre.
  • Direct delivery to Noon’s UAE fulfilment centres on our trucks on the agreed inbound date.
  • Photo proof of the prepped units before loading, attached to the shipment in your account.

Detail in Noon prep.

For sellers importing stock from China that goes straight to Noon FBN without a Dubai pit stop:

  1. Quote and book the freight. Sea or air, depending on speed and budget. See sea freight and air freight.
  2. Pickup from your supplier. Our truck collects from the factory anywhere in mainland China.
  3. Consolidation and prep at our Guangzhou facility if prep happens at origin, or hold for Dubai-side prep on arrival.
  4. Customs clearance at Jebel Ali (sea) or Dubai International (air). See customs.
  5. Final prep at Ras Al Khor if not done at origin: barcode, packaging, documentation.
  6. Direct delivery to Noon FC. Our trucks deliver on the booked inbound slot.

The full freight path is documented in the freight FAQ.

  • Where prep happens. Origin (Guangzhou) or destination (Ras Al Khor). Each has tradeoffs documented in Amazon prep and the same logic applies to Noon.
  • Per-SKU split between FBN and direct fulfilment. No hard rule; mix as your category demands.
  • Inbound batch size. Coordinate with your account manager; we ship to the Noon FC on agreed dates, not ad hoc.

For us to prep and inbound on your behalf, we need:

  • Your Noon seller account details so we can confirm the inbound destination.
  • Inbound shipment IDs generated from your Noon seller account when the inbound is created.
  • SKU master. SKU codes, Noon barcodes (or Noon-assigned identifier), packaging spec, dimensions, weight.
  • Cargo-ready dates if importing from China so we can plan the freight and the inbound slot together.
  • Any specific FC preference (some categories or regions tie to specific Noon fulfilment centres).

Your account manager runs through this on the discovery call before first inbound; the same checklist becomes a standing reference for every inbound after that.

  • Can I switch from FBN to direct fulfilment mid-cycle? Yes. Stock that is at our warehouse can be redirected; stock already at Noon FBN follows Noon’s own withdrawal process.
  • Do you handle Noon returns? Returns from Noon orders we fulfilled directly: yes, full path documented in returns process. Returns from Noon FBN orders: those go back to Noon’s reverse logistics.
  • What if Noon updates the carton spec? We track the spec changes; your account manager will flag if your current packaging stops complying.
