Amazon

Three flows for Amazon UAE sellers: FBA prep and inbound to Amazon’s UAE fulfilment centres, direct factory-to-FBA freight from China, and FBM via SamVertex when you want our warehouse and fleet behind your Amazon listings. Many sellers run all three at once. Our SamVertex Guangzhou consolidation facility handles the origin side end to end so cargo lands at FBA without a Chinese-side operator gap.

  • FBA prep and inbound to Amazon FCs. Stock arrives at our warehouse, we prep to FBA spec, then deliver to the assigned UAE fulfilment centre. Service detail in Amazon prep.
  • Inbound from China direct to Amazon FCs. Factory pickup in China, prep at our Guangzhou facility, freight to UAE, customs cleared, delivered to FBA. One operator end to end.
  • FBM via SamVertex. We act as your fulfilment warehouse for Amazon FBM orders, pick from your shelf, dispatch on our fleet, push tracking back to Amazon Seller Central.
  • Mixed model. High-rotation SKUs go FBA; long-tail or higher-AOV SKUs stay FBM with us. Stock can sit with us between modes without a second warehouse.

What we do on every FBA inbound:

  • FNSKU labelling on every unit per Amazon spec.
  • Polybagging for apparel, soft goods, and any unit Amazon requires bagged.
  • Bundling of multi-unit listings into a single shippable unit with a single FNSKU.
  • Inbound shipment plan generation in Seller Central (or coordinated with your team if you prefer to file).
  • PO and box content prep including box labels and pallet labels per FBA spec.
  • Direct delivery to Amazon UAE FBA centres on our trucks, with inbound appointment scheduling.
  • Photo proof of the prepped units before loading, attached to the shipment in your account.

Detail in Amazon prep.

For sellers importing stock from China that goes straight to FBA without a Dubai pit stop:

  1. Quote and book the freight. Sea or air. See sea freight and air freight.
  2. Pickup from your supplier. Our truck collects from the factory anywhere in mainland China.
  3. Consolidation and prep at our Guangzhou facility if prep happens at origin, or hold for Dubai-side prep on arrival.
  4. Customs clearance at Jebel Ali (sea) or Dubai International (air). See customs.
  5. Final prep at Ras Al Khor if not done at origin.
  6. Direct delivery to Amazon FC. Our trucks deliver on the booked inbound slot.

The full freight path is in the freight FAQ.

For sellers running Fulfilled by Merchant on Amazon UAE who want our fulfilment behind their listings:

  • Stock sits with us in Ras Al Khor. Same shelf, same warehouse as your DTC stock if you also sell direct.
  • Amazon FBM orders flow into our pick queue. Currently routed via manual order entry or CSV upload from your Amazon Seller Central order export (we are working on a native connector; check back).
  • We pick, pack, dispatch on our fleet. Same path as Shopify orders, captured proof of delivery, COD reconciliation if applicable.
  • Tracking pushed back to Amazon. You upload the tracking number in Seller Central; we provide the data on dispatch.

FBM is a useful mode when your category has tight margins and the FBA per-unit fee eats too much of the spread, or when your AOV is high enough that the buyer experience matters more than marketplace placement.

  • Where prep happens. Origin (Guangzhou) or destination (Ras Al Khor) per SKU.
  • Per-SKU split between FBA and FBM. No hard rule; mix as your category demands.
  • Inbound batch size. Coordinate with your account manager.
  • Your Amazon Seller Central account details so we can confirm inbound destinations and FBA labels.
  • Inbound shipment IDs generated from Seller Central when the inbound is created.
  • SKU master. SKU codes, FNSKU codes, prep type per SKU (label only, polybag, bundle), dimensions, weight.
  • Cargo-ready dates if importing from China so we can plan the freight and the inbound slot together.
