Onboarding checklist
Send us these items before your stock arrives. Most onboardings clear the checklist inside one business week.
1. Business documents
Section titled “1. Business documents”- A copy of your UAE trade license (or your home-country equivalent, plus a UAE distributor agreement if applicable)
- Emirates ID of the signatory on the service agreement
- VAT registration certificate, if your business is VAT-registered
- A bank account in the company name (IBAN, bank name, branch). All COD payouts go to this account, in AED.
2. Service agreement and rate card
Section titled “2. Service agreement and rate card”- We send a service agreement based on the volumes you described. Review and sign.
- A starter rate card lists your storage, fulfilment, and delivery rates. We update the card if your volume tier shifts.

3. Product information
Section titled “3. Product information”- SKU list (CSV is fine), with: SKU code, product name, category, dimensions, weight, retail price in AED, COD flag (yes or no).
- A barcode for every SKU. Manufacturer EAN works; otherwise we issue SamVertex labels at AED 0.20 per unit at receiving.
- Hazmat or restricted flags for batteries, liquids, cosmetics, food, supplements. See Restricted items.
4. Stock plan
Section titled “4. Stock plan”- Estimated inbound date for the first shipment.
- Origin (your supplier in Dubai, a freight forwarder, or a China-side shipment we are handling).
- Quantity per SKU in the first inbound.
- Storage type needed (pallet, shelf, or bin). We will recommend if you are unsure.
5. Storefront and order flow
Section titled “5. Storefront and order flow”- Storefront URL and platform (Shopify, Noon, Amazon, custom).
- For Shopify: we send an install link for the SamVertex Shopify app.
- For Noon and Amazon: we collect your API keys or run the relationship through your seller dashboard.
- For manual orders: a CSV template (Manual orders).
6. Branding (optional)
Section titled “6. Branding (optional)”- Branded mailer or box, if you want unboxing under your name. Otherwise we use plain white.
- Insert flyers, thank-you cards, or returns instructions. Bring 1,000 to 5,000 to seed your first run.
Quick sanity check
Section titled “Quick sanity check”Before your stock dispatches to our warehouse, confirm these four things:
- Trade license and Emirates ID are with us.
- Service agreement is countersigned.
- SKU list with barcodes is in our system.
- You have an inbound delivery slot booked (we book this with you).
